Skull Cairns - Lemax Spooky Town

Two stacks of bleached skulls rising out of red clay and green moss, with a glossy black crow settled on top of one as though it were a perch built for him. Somebody piled these here deliberately. That is the unsettling part.

Under two inches, so it goes in the gaps: beside a doorstep, at the mouth of a path, in the corner where the fence turns. Small pieces like this are what stop a village looking like it was unpacked yesterday.

Its job in your village: a tiny detail. The cheapest way to make a scene look lived in, and a good first piece if you are just starting.
